Stretching along the Ocean View Boulevard all the way to Asilomar State Beach, this park encompasses the publicly-owned waterfront of Pacific Grove after Lovers Point. Lined with native plants and resting benches, it’s a favorite route for both locals and visitors looking to enjoy a calm, ocean-breezy stroll.

As you walk, expect sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, with opportunities to spot sea lions, harbor seals, otters, and seabirds resting on the rocks below. The overall atmosphere is calm, clean, and welcoming.

Tips for visiting

  • Dogs are welcome throughout, but must remain leashed

  • No drinking fountains on route so pack water and a collapsible bowl for your dog

  • Keep dogs close when near the bluffs or rocky edges to avoid disturbing sea lions and seabirds
